We are delighted to be able to offer funding for attending academic philosophy conferences and workshops to all undergraduate and postgraduate students undertaking study at the University of Leeds. Successful applicants will fulfil one of the following criteria, either:

Funds will be made available in two rounds (October-March and April-September) to ensure funds are available across each year. Funding will be granted on a first-come first-served basis, with a £50 per person, per application upper limit available. More than 1 application is permitted per round, but new applications will be given priority. Confirmation of funding for additional applications will not be given until the end of the funding round (and is dependent on available funds).

- be attending a conference or workshop relating to MAP themes (minority issues in philosophy; philosophy of gender, race, sexual orientation, class, disability, native language etc.; and philosophy done from minority perspectives), or
- identify as a member of an under-represented group and be attending any conference or workshop in academic philosophy (either wholly or in an interdisciplinary setting).
